I know that this is a terrible loss for you and the rest of his family. The obituary leaves no doubt that his life was one of service. His generosity included not only financial gifts but also the most important gifts of all, his time and energy. Please...

To Mary, the Bartholow and Gray families:
Our deepest sympathy is extended to you all. We were saddened to learn of John's passing. He will be missed by all his Cuchara friends and neighbors. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To my favorite Gary women, I am so sorry for your loss. Mary, I loved the time spent with Jack and will regret that I never got to spend an evening with Jack over a scotch...or whatever. I would liked to have known him better in his own right. Really terrific man. You were all so lucky to have him in your life. My love to you all.

Mary, Jack was most kind to me, he was also most generous with me.I smile for you and say, wind is wind and dust is dust and river runs only to sea, We will miss him. Bless you and yours, James Surls

Mom, I love you and am thinking of you all the time. We were all so blessed in knowing and loving Papa Jack, and we will miss him so much. Love, Barbara Gary
