A "fun" argument among my uncles pursued when someone was called out or if the ball was a foul or not - words flew, but not the ball. Also the horseshoe games, my uncles were "hot" over the location of the shoe - it was not close enough, so my Uncle George...

Dear Father Bartka,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your Family on the earthly loss of your Dad. Now he is with the Lord and at peace.

God Bless you all.

Dear Father Jerry and Family,

I will cherish the memories that Mr. Bartko brought to Niagara Catholic. I will miss his "papa rolls" and presence at our school liturgies. My prayers are with you all.

Fondly,

Fr. Jerry... I was very sad to hear of the passing of your father. Many prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Carol and Mike, I am so sorry to here of Papa's passing. I will miss that smiling face and strong warm handshake, and those little pecks on the cheek! I am sure he is smiling down on you, a most loving guardian angel. Please take care. Sincerely, Laura Lasher

dear family of Kacl Bartlo, I remember your father from a long time ago. He worked with my father at Union Carbide before the 70,s. His name was clyde Miller and the two of them always played cards together at the Royal Tavern. When may father passed in l970, your father came to see if there was anything we needed or what he could do. Growing up with my father he always talked aout Mr. Bartko. Our family's thoughts and prayers are with you all at tis time.

Dear Father Bartko
Sorry to hear about your father's Passing' May GOD give you & your family strength in this dificult time.

Fr. Bartko, I was sorry to hear of your Fathers passing. As I remember you telling our class way back in 1971, Do not be sad, as it is a celebration as he is now with the Lord. I did not know your Father, however, having had the honor to know you, Fr. Bartko, I know your Father must have been a great man. My prayers are with you and your family.
