Mrs. Bauer, Julie & Chris - I'm so very sorry to hear of John's passing. My heart and prayers go out to all of you during this difficult time. It has been years since I've seen John, but I used to babysit all of the kids back many moons ago. May God comfort you all.

Our condolences to John's family. We feel very blessed to have known him, "cheeks". I think Abraham Lincoln sums it up best when he said, "And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." Cheeks really knew how to live! He was a great friend to many with a awesome heart and kind spirit, he touched many lives in a special way that only Cheeks could have done. He will be very, very missed! Our thoughts and prayers are with you!

Mrs. Bauer, Julie and Chris,

So very sorry to hear of John's passing. John was a good man and growing up was a great neighbor, as were you all. My family and I have many cherished memories of John and will keep those close to our hearts. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

To John's parents and family. I was a friend of John's in HS and heard of his passing through my sister. I wanted you, the family, to know that John was one of the sweetest guys and very funny. He sat behind me in a class and made me laugh with his "stupid jokes". I can't imagine your pain. Embrace eachother & remember his jokes. Try to have more better days than bad days, you'll have both.
