Not sure what to say?

Jay has been wonderful at keeping Florida High classmates connected. I haven't seen Jay and Karen for over 40 years, but through his extensive use of the e - mail it's as if we were next door. I was so forward looking to see Jay at the reunion. I will miss him and love to Karen and the family.

I knew COL Baughman through his daughter, Kathy. He was a wonderful man, who lit up the room. I thoroughly enjoyed all of his stories and his laughter. He will be greatly missed. His life has touched so many. I thank him for being so generous by serving our country. He was a true military hero.

I am one of the unfortunate ones who did not know either Karen or Jay very well but was fortunate to have known them at all and to have been associated with them during my short two years at Florida High. It is sad to learn of Jay's passing. It is a loss to all who knew him and Karen, but the world was a lot better as a result of his passing through our lives. I know Karen is very proud of him and, although I know this time of mourning is very difficult for her, I hope that all the good...

I think there are many of us who were associated with Jay in a minor way at some point in his life and are glad of it. Thank you, Jay, for your life with us. God be with you, Karen, and the family you and Jay created.

Jay was a good fiend during our years at FHS. His Military record is exemplary. I am grateful to have known him. We used to play poker occasionally and every poker lesson he taught me was expensive. We will all miss him.

Karen, My heart goes out to you and your family. Jay was a senior at Florida High School when I was a freshman. We were all very close as classmates. The school was small but so many friendships have endured through the years. Nancy Harrison Trautman is my sister. You have alot of friends in Tallahassee. Jay will not be forgotten. Gerry H. Fix class of 1962

Jay was a great man and a well loved family member. We will all miss you and there will be a special place in our hearts where you will reside forever. I will always remeber the times when you made us laugh. Just thinking of you, brings a smile to our faces. We love you and miss you, Jay.

I have fond memories of many fun times with Jay in our high school days - we did not stay in touch, but I always knew he would do well. A wonderful human being - I am truly saddened by his passing,

Jay was a friend to all of his Florida High School class mates. Many of us grew up with him during our school years in Tallahasse and we were all like family. He will be missed, but will always be in our hearts. On behalf of all of his FHS class mates, we offer our sincere condolences to Karen and family.
