Not sure what to say?

John was my guidance counselor in high school. He was also good friends with my friend David Russell and Mike Woolson. John had a good sense of humor and was always joking with Jack Gray.

Always a quick, witty, humorous but brief comment or statement to keep everyone in good spirits and keeping everything happening around us in a positive perspective. I cherish the times and conversations we had at Forsythe. You were always "da man"!

John was a wonderful guidance counselor. He radiated joy and humor. I knew him as a staff member at Huron High School. See you on the other side John.

John was a colleague, friend, and wonderful counselor. He will be missed.

"Ring the bells that still can ring. Forget your perfect offering. There is a crack in everything. That is how the light gets in." Dear brother John, my heart aches for us all at your loss but I know we will all be together again one day. So for now, I will say "Good night. I´ll see you in the morning." Love Always, Your "baby sister," Theresa

I met John at Huron High School. First as a parent then as a counseling colleague. He was my mentor and friend. He taught me how to counsel and love my students. His support and wisdom were both amazing. He led by example and was loved by the students. Our morning coffee and his jokes got me through many rough times. He was just the Best.

"Ring the bells that still can ring. Forget your perfect offering. There is a crack in everything. That is how the light gets in." Goodnight, my dear brother John. See you in the morning.

I met John when we did StoryTime Players together in the Ann Arbor Schools. His kindness, his sense of humor, his reliability were such assets to the group and made knowing him a great pleasure. We continued to interact on Facebook, mostly through my enjoying his jokes. It´s a great loss.
