I remembeer the afternoon Kennedy died. Mr. Bean (still call him that out of respect) was looking out the windowin our 6-7 grade class at Hookway Ele. school with a very solemn look on his face. I will never forget that look! He taught his class what self-control means!

RIP John Bean , You were and always will be a class act , those of us who had the good fortune to know you will be richer and better because of you .

John Bean my principal and my friend. As a young teacher, you gave me my wings and helped me learn to fly. I became the best that I could be because of you. You will always be in my heart.
