Not sure what to say?

My sincere sympathy to the family. I treasure the years that I worked for him. I was still in business school, so I was very "green". I'm so thankful that he, Jackye, and Charlie stuck with me through my learning days at Taylor. I cherish all my memories at Taylor Mfg. I remember John saying that his mother "died with her boots on". What a coincidence.....he did too!

TO THE WHOLE FAMILY, I AM SO LUCKY TO HAVE MEET DODA. HE WAS A WOUNDERFUL MAN WHO LEAD A WOUNDERFUL LIFE FULL OF ADVENTURE. JEREMIAH AND I ARE TRUELY BLESSED TO HAVE MEMORIES OF DODA EVEN IF ONLY A FEW. GOD BLESS YOU ALL....

John Hayden Beard

My Dearest Doda, I am so lucky to have a grandfather like him. He was our family patriarch and life in the Beard family will never be the same without him. We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to all of John's family. It is a loss of a true friend and boss during my years at Taylor Mfg. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

DoDa with Noble - Noble's first birthday -

DoDa - I enjoyed visiting him and his beach house years ago with Hayden. His hospitality created a memory that I won't forget. He even took us ladies out on a boat... He was such a caring and giving soul. He was so impressed with my cooking and cleaning skills! Because of him - I'll be a great housewife:)

John 'Doda' Beard was a grandfather to all - he has touched so many lives in his 79 years and I am truly blessed to have had wonderful conversations and hours of laughter with him. The Beard Family will always have an angel looking out for them so be cautious - Doda might hit you over the head if you're not doing what you aught to do!

My family and I would like to express our deepest condolences to all of the Beard family. John "Doda" will be greatly missed by all of us as he was such a unique and special individual. We feel blessed to have known him and will never forget his entertaining stories of the old days in Salisbury and all of his travels. Doda had a rare honesty and straightforwardness about him and you always knew exactly what was on his mind. Within his tough guy exterior, was a sweet and gentle man, who...
