Dear Janet and Son John. It was such a pleasure to know and work with and share a June 24th birthday with his Honor. What a joyful, unassuming, kind and gentle man. Always a smile on his face no matter the type of day he was having. He will most certainly be missed for the example he set in the law and for the kindness he brought to all who knew him.

My mom had fond memories of John when they worked together long before his outstanding career. I taught John´s son, who at 16 worked on music for my daughter´s wedding. I will always have fond memories of this wonderful family.

He was a fine gentleman. Our deepest condolences to Janet and John Winfield, and all other family members. Truly a life well lived.

Janet, I am so very sorry to hear of John´s passing. I respected him very much as an attorney and a jurist. Grief can be so hard but our memories help us cope with it. Jay and I want you to know that you and your family are in our hearts and prayers. God bless you all. Chris and Jay Weller
