Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your loved one. May the wonderful memories of your loved one continue to provide a measure of comfort to you until Gods promise is fulfilled at Matthews 5: 5.

I have fond memories of John while attending LCCC in the 1980's . I was so sorry to see that he had passed last year.. John was the most fun, loving and caring person I knew while I attended there. May he RIH .. my prayers to the family.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Dr. John R. Bender. While at Lorain County Community College, it was obvious that he truly cared about people, and did his best to make this world a better place. May he rest in peace.

I was saddened to read in The Quadrangle of John Bender's death. My prayers and condolences go out to John's family.
Though I haven't seen John in many years, the happy memories I have of the time we spent together are vivid.
I am sure the angels have received him and led him to great peace as they did with Lazarus who also once suffered.

Sending good thoughts and condolences to the John Bender Family. Doc Bender as he was known to the students of Program Board was a nurturing positive influence on myself and many other students who came through LCCC in the 70s. When I returned to Oh in the early 90s I had the pleasure of helping with his first election campaign for State Office. He left good will and good results wherever he went. A model for us all.

Words can't really say how sorry we are for your loss. He was a wonderful person! We truly regret that we could not be there to express our sympathy. We will keep you in our thoughts. Love, Tom and Cecelia

While words fail to capture the pain of losing a loved one to death may the prayers expressed toward you let you know that others care and want to share. hm

I so sorry to hear of John's passing and will have you in my prayers. I wish I could be with you on Thursday, but will be out of town. What a fine man! I believe he truly made this world a better place.
