Not sure what to say?

Sure will be missed. I just came across this obituary today. I met him on The Planet Tonite Show at Portland Cable Access and the last time I saw him is when he went to Nevada to further his carrer

John was an incredibly talented man, a kind-hearted soul and a gentleman. I had the privilege of working with him on stage a number of times, as well as enjoying his company and hospitality at his home. He always had interesting stories to tell and had a unique perspective on life. I also knew John as a loving father to his boys and gave his all to causes he believed in. I had not spoken to John in a number of years and I am saddened by the news of his passing. He will be missed. May he rest...

May God's promise found in John 6:40, of the hope to see our loved ones again, comfort your heart and give you peace, strength, and hope in the days ahead.

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. We go back to high school and he was always such a wise and kind presence. He found me on Facebook-- fairly recently. And I thought-- when life is back to normal again-- we could meet up. You just never know. RIP, John. You were a unique and shining star.

Single Memorial Tree

John was innovative, free thinking, extremely talented, a good man and what I believe to be a good friend from high school on. He truly left his mark in this life and will be greatly missed by those who new him and those he positively influenced through out his life.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear about John. It´s been a few months since we talked, but I could tell he was going downhill. We were friends since 1966, freshman year at Jackson, and we had the fun of being at Pixieland together. I loved John and the world is a much less interesting place without him. My sincerest condolences to all of his family.

Johnny loved Cape Meares, playing poker and gambling with agates. He will be missed.

RIP Kandu
