John was the first packaging rep we had when we bought our first business in Dayton. What a great guy. He was not only the perfect person to work with, but he was a genuinely kind person. Our crew always loved the platter of Christmas cookies he delivered with so much pride. Always gave Dawn her props. John was the sales guy we always looked forward to seeing. He will be missed. If they need boxes in heaven, they now have the best.

My name is Denny Cowger, I worked with John at Yellow Freight System. I´m from Parkersburg, West Virginia and we´d always see one another at regional meetings in Columbus. I was one of 200 reps that Yellow let go in December of 1995. John and I always talked about getting together but unfortunately that never happened. My heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to his entire family.
