Jim, so sorry for your loss. George was a big part of our family. He will be missed here in Dracut,Mass. I dont think i have ever met a more kinder, gentler man. He will always be in our thoughts and prayers

Ill never forget his funny stories, especially at Miramar in Duxbury when he use to make us laugh serving dinner at our retreats. RIP father!

To Father George's family,
I first met Fr. George over 40 years ago and all that time I considered him one the best priests I ever met. He had a joy in him that made him special. He would almost always make you laugh.
We had a Mass at my house for family members and George was the celebrant. Well more people showed up than expected so I had to ask George to stand in the doorway to say Mass. I always remembered that he filled the doorway. He was big man in stature and heart. What a...

Found Father George's funny business card......Many fond memories of his time here in Duxbury, Mass... He roared with laughter when I told him...my Granddaughter...then two years old....thought he was a Teletubbie in his green vestments.......We were both born in 1938...he in August....me in October......Guess the folks in the hereafter needed a laugh...or a story.... Save a place for me up there Father.......Rest in Heavenly Peace........

Thanks so much to all of you for the wonderful memories of my big brother. I know he is now at peace, celebrating with the Lord, with Mom and Dad, and the family and friends who have welcomed him to heaven. I knew he had touched the lives of many, many people, and that's a huge consolation during these difficult days.

There are so many thing I will miss about Father George. His great big comforting hugs, the twinkle in his eye, his ability to see the humor in daily life, his support, his advise, and his friendship. I am forever grateful that he was part of my life. He married my daughter and baptized my grandchildren. He left his mark on my heart. Rest In Peace.

Big George, I just read in csj news about you passing. I was greatly saddened. You were a gentle giant who was so kind to many people.You and your humor will be greatly missed. I now pray to you.
