Dear Bernheisel Family, I have many fond memories of Pastor Bernheisel from childhood. I grew up in Mifflinburg and attended First Evangeliclal Lutheran Church. His warm smile always made my Sunday mornings so complete. May you find comfort and peace in the days ahead. He touched many hearts in Mifflinburg. God's Peace to you. ?Gwen Watson Hull

RIP Pastor Johnny B as my father called him. It seems he was ingrained in my life and in fact I believe he picked up a hammer to help dad when he was building his cabin. He visited our family often and will be greatly missed.
