Not sure what to say?

I worked with John at Blackmon-Mooring when he got out of college; and later with his Dad at Steamatic. A totally great family. John was super-talented and a lover of Christ. I attribute his excellence and integrity to the way he was raised. John was a great guy and left us too early. RIP!

Linda- I was a fraternity brother of John´s at TCU, from Kansas City so the token "Yankee". John was President of the house when I was a pledge. He was a rock solid guy who was tough but fair in all our dealings. A natural born leader and the consumate True Gentleman. I just found my copy of the album "Sneak Preview" and it takes me back to college days. My heart goes out to you and your family for your loss. David J Zimmer

LINDA.....I hope you are doing well. Still makes me sick to my stomach when I think about John not being here. It all just seems like a bad dream. Truly, one of the finest there ever was. Just, in a class by himself. How lucky you and CHARLIE and NANCY were to have had him in your life . I just hope that you are doing OK and I know how hard it must be. We are thinking about you and hope you are doing OK. ROBERT BROYLES

Linda I was so sorry to read of your husbands passing in the TCU magazine.
My condolences for your loss.

Linda, I just learned of John's passing from the TCU Magazine "Frogs We Will Miss" column. My memories of our time together are so rich. John was, indeed, a founder of the Student Foundation and participated in the first-ever Phonothon Fundraising event in Sadler Hall. I was blessed to supervise both...and I use the term loosely! John kept us laughing 'till the wee hours with his wicked sense of humor. Still have "the album" and will play it tomorrow in his memory. Please accept my belated...

Linda, a lot of years have passed since I’ve seen you and John; I just got news of his passing. I know that he is dearly missed by his family. God’s blessings and comfort to you and yours.

Linda, Nancy, & Charlie,

I was so saddened to see the obituary in the Dallas Morning News regarding the loss of your husband and father, John.

Although I have not see you in quite a long time, I always remember seeing you, Linda, John and Charlie watching as our girls (Nancy and Kate) played softball.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

We are keeping you in our hearts and prayers. May you feel Gods powerful Presence filling your hearts with comfort and peace. We rejoice that John finished his race so well and is with Jesus - no more sorrow, no more pain! Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.
Psalms 116:15 NIV
We love you all!
