I miss Mr. Bertram. He was kind, loving and considerate. Every time I saw him he had a smile on his face. You are always in our prayers.

How sad I am to realize the passing of Mr. Bertram. I only met him once, at 3 or so in the morning, when his son Dan, and two other friends and I arrived at his doorstep unannounced in the middle of the night during our college years. He and Mrs. Bertram welcomed us in, as if it were the most normal of occurrences, even feeding us and chatting happily. I remember at the time how perfectly pleasant and loving Mr. and Mrs. Bertram were.
I am glad I met him, even just that once, for...

John Bertram, my father, was the most generous and thoughtful man I ever knew. He gave me his unconditional support always and I will be always proud to be his daughter.

A kinder, friendlier, more charming and helpful man cannot be found. It was a joy to have known him and share in the path of the Bertram family and I will always cherish my memories with he and Ori. Sitting in the kitchen, he explained to me what a French press was and how to use it. At work, his thoughtful, soothingly phrased, explanations of rock mechanics and geology-related Corps of Engineers processes were helpful to me. Driving us to school-related events he remained charming,...

Mr. B was a kind and gentle man who was always concerned with my well-being. Since I lost my dad when I was young and didn't have a role model growing up, I looked to Mr. Bertram as a good example of a wonderful, caring father. I could go to him with any problem and he would always offer sound advice. I will miss him greatly for he was a great man. God bless
