I personally will always remember his intelligence, his calm and gentlemanly demeanor, and his world-class stories. I might also mention he always "stayed well groomed". "Ehhgseellent", "Can you imagine?", "only in America", and "ohhhh - ohh - ohhh" will always be in my personal lexicon and will always bring a private...

Our entire family extends heartfelt sympathy to the whole Bertran clan on the passing of such a fine man and great friend. Few in this life are as kind, gentle, and caring as our wonderful friend, Juan. All loved him; all will miss him deeply, but his warm legacy lives on through his wonderful family, surely one of the best of them all!
