Shirley--Sad to learn of Jack's passing. Please accept our sincere sympathies. God bless you...Bill and Loraine Day

Dear Shirley and Bonnie

We were saddened to read of Jack's death. We have many fond memories of your years in Pittsburgh, first at Robert Morris and then Bradford School, and the good times we had together during those years. Jack was a wonderful man and we were fortunate to know him. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Mr. Besser was my teacher at Bradford School and also my boss when he hired me after I graduated from the accounting program. He was fair and encouraging as both a teacher and a boss. He always had a smile and a good story.

Dear Shirley and Bonnie,

You have my condolences on your loss. He was my first boss since Bradford was my first teaching postion, he spoiled me.

Besides being understanding, he was a teaching boss. He made you think about your decision and action. His humor was helpful as well.

I thought of him a lot over the years. I left Bradford shortly before him.

I keep these thoughts: Gone but not forgotten. You are in my prayers.

My condolences to Shirley and Bonnie. I was one of the "early" employees at Bradford School, hired by Jack shortly after I graduated from college. He was a man of insight and integrity, and he approached problems with a calm resolve. He was a very fine man, and I admired him as my boss.

Jack was my boss at Bradford School in Pgh for many years -- I always admired him for his ability to deal with the day-to-day issues with a smile and encouragement. He was a great boss and role model. He is a treasured part of my memories.

My family was able to visit John in his last weeks. He perked up and smiled while my two year old daughter flirted with him. We had a great visit and he was an extremely special and loving man. He will be greatly missed.
