Not sure what to say?

I have regrets now that I never made that phone call to John or got to visit him on my last trip to the USA. He was a wonderful family member, loved our family history. Along with John's brother Bob and the Bishop family as a whole,my family were made feel at home a long way from our own home. It was very easy to be in John's company. I will make that call to John now in the form of Prayer for him and his family. R I P John In Gods Care.

I was always amazed by Mr. Bishop's ability to see something good in the work of every student. Even if the student's "art" resembled some scribbles on a page, he would liken it to some work by a master of the art world - and mean it. He wasn't just doing it to make the student feel good - he really could see beyond the scribbles. The world was definitely a better place with Mr. Bishop in it.

mr Bishop was a nice man.He was a great art teacher. He will greatly missed

John was one of the most talented artists I ever knew. I graduated the year after John. I think our art teacher, Mrs. Shimans mentored both me and John, and had big dreams for both of us. He shall be sadly missed, and my condolences go out to his family.

John was a wonderful human being and a distinguished member of our faculty. "Don't worry, we have plenty of time and not a lot to do. We'll get it finished" John, The show goes on! You'll be missed.

Mr Bishop was a superb art teacher and human being. He was not only wonderfully talented, but shared that talent with so many , and mentored everyone he came in contact with by just being himself. I am so grateful for all he did for the school, community and the students. May his gift live on in those he taught. God bless Mr. Bishop and his family and friends who are left to mourn his passing. May he paint us all beautiful sunsets and sunrises from heaven. With deep sympathy ,Anne Dunn, East...

I am so glad that I had the opportunity to know John better when I went to Italy on a trip that he was helping to chaperone. He was so knowledgeable about the artwork and shared his knowledge with everyone. He was a kind and caring person who never hesitated to help anyone who needed his help. He will be greatly missed. Heaven has gained a true angel.

John will be greatly missed. He was awonderful and very talented man. Margaret & Jerry McKeon.
