Dr Bissonnette was my champion professor. Always calm and supportive, he came to my defense once with the Dept Chief at OHSU and exhibited his fiery side! Virginia and family-I was saddened to read of John´s recent death. I never got to know his sense of humor, but he was a true bright light in my residency training at OHSU. He was always available if I asked, which I did as often as I could. I very much admired and respected his clarity of thought and intellect.
