Not sure what to say?

Dear Family,

John was my closest friend during the years that we shared as students at Niles Twp High School in Skokie. We both transferred as Sophmores and we met while sitting at the registrar's office on day one, with our mothers by our sides. It was tough to make the transition from the city to the suburbs at a very challenging age for change. John was a huge part of my making it thorough that time as well as I did. His mother and father were wonderful people and welcomed me...

We will remember John as a true gentleman who was thoughtful and loving to all. He will be truly missed and always remembered.

Love,
Gerilyn Golden

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. May your memories comfort your heart; and God help the family during this time of sorrow. Isa.41:13

I worked with John at Petland for a few years and I would have to say that it would have been a completely different place without him. His stories and demeanor on a daily basis were a simple way for him to bring smiles to the faces of both the people he worked with and the customers of the store.

John was a great man and will always be remembered by the people he was around. I wish that I was able to see him one last time before he passed...

John has been a wonderful caring man, good friend. Blessed to have had many years of friendship. Shared meals, laughs, tears and adventures through life. Oh and lets not forget the daily phone calls.

Your body is once again whole, pain gone. While we will miss your presence you will be in our hearts and our memories. Rest in Peace John.

To the Black Family:

I am sorry for your loss.

May the peace from God that excels all thought sustain you during this sad time.
