John Paul Blanchard

Dad, it's been 8 years since you left us all, but time on earth has gone fast. A lot has happened since you left. I believe you are at peace & happy in heaven, as that is the best place one can hope & pray for. We still miss you, love you & hope & pray that we too will be joined with you, reunited with family & friends that have gone before us, on the day God calls us each home!

I always remember grandpa smiling. He loved seeing his family. When the whole family would get together and pray before a meal; when everyone´s eyes were closed and heads bowing down. I would open my eyes and look around the room to see if everyone was indeed closing there eyes and praying. On a few occasions I would see grandpa doing the same thing. He would wink and smile. Love you grandpa.

John was a great Brother-in-law & we miss him very much.

Annalee and I send our condolences over John's passing. My brother sent me the obituary and seeing John's picture and especially his smile brought back a flood of memories. Wow! 52 years of marriage is quite a tall order to shoot for, but we are trying. Alan, we need to get together this Winter when we hopefully get down to Phoenix.
