I was lucky enough to visit with Jack two years ago after decades of no contact. He was robust and fully engaged in his California life. I'm shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. Too soon.

Thanks to Jack for being such a wonderful mentor to me as a boy, Jr. Class President to Jr. Class,President. Jack always had a job, was always working , and was a very good student athlete. Thank you John! I will miss our coast to coast calls and the updates on your past and upcoming adventures.
