Not sure what to say?

Just saw him on Classic Concentration from 1991. Really a nice guy and so sorry to read about his passing at only 43!

I met John in 1983 when he was with the Clutch show band. I never ever forgot him and the impact he made on this world.

John your beautiful soul is missed every day. Love you and miss you.

Your presence is greatly missed. Love you.

John was truly an angel among us!
I will forever miss his beautiful smile and his incredibly giving nature.
I'll never forget when I met John for the first time during rehearsal of a show we did together called "Musical Chairs" here in Palm Springs. He seemed so shy and timid and.... even a bit nervous. Yet, when it was his turn to sing, the entire room was held captive by his presence and by his rich and unique voice. I know that was the moment I fell in love with John.

As most people who had the pleasure of knowing John, I was touched by his selflessness - in ALL things.

I remember my first encounter with John was all about how he could assist The Trevor Project. John was well aware that gay and questioning teens are 3 times more likely to commit suicide than their heterosexual peers and to that end, produced a Christmas CD in which proceeds from the sale of his CD benefited the organization in its mission to curb teen suicide.

I can't tell you how heart broken I was to hear the news about John. I went to UNA in the 80's when John was there and being able to sing with him and be around his incredible talent was a life changing experience for me. The way he sang and the way he sweetly phrased each note was a blessing to me everytime I heard him. How lucky I am to have known him. One of my favorite memories of John was back stage at the Miss UNA and Miss Alabama pageants. We both played the piano for a couple of girls...

WOW! I can't believe it still. John was a wonderful, loving, kind and giving person throughout his life. Though his life was short, his legacy will last more than a lifetime. It is truly amazing that in his 43 short years, he will touch the lives of more people than we could ever imagine. Jean and Johnny, your son was more precious to me than you will ever know. He was my absolute BEST friend for the first 20 years of his life. I will miss him greatly. We should all have his motto in life,...

John was an incredibly gifted human being, so humble and kind and funny.
I am grateful to have had the experience to know him, to sing with him and to benefit from his kindness.

Your light will shine on, John....always.

Godspeed.
