Not sure what to say?

Grandaddy, I miss you so much already. And am still learning from you. Thank you for courage, strength, laughter, and the abundance of love you gave to us. You are and have been such a great part of my life. love you always.

John was a wonderful friend to my father and my Dad always used to tell me if something went wrong, be sure and find "Uncle John". As a kid, that made for much better sleep knowing he was our guardian angel. I'm sure that he and Dad are busy trading stories as they watch over their families from above.

I was privileged to know your dad via dealings with my own father (Karl Neupert) as well as from the annual party Ed and Sue Cooley had. He was wonderful to talk to, always had a smile on his face and some great story to tell. I missed seeing him once Sue moved. Good wishes for happy memories and may they serve you well. Ann Neupert Durfee

From 1953 to our retirements, John and I practiced law in Portland. John was the quintessential gentleman/scholar/humanist and chamber music lover! Condolences to his entire family.

The Rudnick family sends their condolences to yours. Your dad had a wonderful life filled with a successful career, great attitude, but more importantly the joy and value he brought to his adoring wife and family. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Love and blessings to you all. Sally,Karl & Jill, Jane and Wolfgang.

John remains my personal image of the perfect gentleman and attorney. I will always picture him seated in his favorite chair in the living room, reading some thick biography or history, but always full of good humor and gentle charm. Sending my thoughts to the whole Bledsoe clan.

I was an attorney with Koerner, Young, McColloch and Dezendorf (now Lane Powell)from 1951 to 1959 and knew John well. He was a very able attorney, very personable and a pleasure to be associated with. I can't attend the memorial because of a conflict, but wanted to express my condolences.

John, Cathy and the whole Bledsoe family. We were very fond of your father/father-in-law. He was always a gentleman in the true sense of the word and always so interesting to talk with. Thinking of all of you. Michael and Wendy Hale

What a wonderful man your father must have been! All my sympathies to your family.
