John P. BLOCK

My deepest sympathies to Trudy and the entire Block family. Our family had the privilege of being professionally associated with John for a number of years. He was a man of impeccable integrity who had great attention to detail in his work. John earned the respect of everyone he came in contact with, and we enjoyed his company whenever we were together. We are praying that God will lift up the entire Block family during this time of loss.

Although I did not know John, he leaves quite a legacy with his family, especially to me: Phillip Block and his Carrollton family. All of the Blocks that I know are great folks with great values and a real pleasure to know. I wish them strength in this time of sadness and will remind his boys to remember the great things that Grandpa surely taught them. Safe travels to all! God speed!

"Grandpa John" fully embodied the values of hard work, dedication to his family, responsibility, and caring for others. I will not forget his delight in telling stories and the amused smile he would get while telling them. I know that he was very dear to my kids, his grandsons, Evan and Adam Block, who loved his sense of humor and his companionship.

I went to school with John. He was always a good and nice kid. Sorry for your loss.

Maybe this year there will be a Christmas breakfast in heaven with Jack and the 'oldsters'.
