I first met John Bloom on January 28, 1978, the night of the blizzard of 78, when I came to Dayton to interview for a job at Rothenberg Pediatric Group. My family and I got stranded at the Knight's Inn at Tylersville Road on our way home to Cincinnati and spent three nights there before we could get home.
