When I think of Lexington Soccer, I think of John Boardman. The soccer community has lost a passionate, visionary leader. On behalf of all the Louisville Strikers, I want to extend our deepest sympathies to John's family and friends. Thanks for organizing all the fun, John.

My condolences to all the family and friends of John Boardman. He will certainly be missed by all of us in the Centre community.

Good bye good friend, colleague and boss.

Deepest sympathies to John's family and fond memories of our freindly rivalry on the soccer pitch between the Kickers and the Strikers.

I have lost one of my best friends. I enjoyed every minute I spent with him and will miss him. I will miss the laugh, the spontaneity, the passion for life, and our shared love of soccer.

John was my teammates on the famous Kentucky Kickers semipro team of the 1970's. John was one of our team leaders as well as one of our leading scorers.

John you left us too soon...but I know you are making the next level of existence a better, more fun place and getting it ready...

I learned of John's passing while away for the Holidays. My deepest sympathy to his family. John has been a great friend for many years. He will be missed by many but not forgotten.

John was a good friend and associate, both at First Security and for soccer in Lexington. My deepest sympathy to his family.
