Not sure what to say?

Dear John,
You are the love of my life. From the first day I met you, in all places, our college gym/dance class, I knew you were the one for me. We had a wonderful life together. We raised 2 beautiful daughters, and then were blessed with 2 great sons-in-law and 3 most wonderful and beautiful grandchildren. They are the joys of our lives. In our 42+ years together, there was never one day that we didn't say 'I love you' to each other. You were my rock, my best friend. You were always...

Joyce,I am soo sorry for your loss and i give my deepest sympathy to you and your family.I haven't seen you in awhile so i hope you are doing ok....

March 9, 2010 We remember John running into our gas light in the yard during a game of touch football--BAD for the light. Phil also remembers fishing with John in Texas--didn't catch any fish, but a lot of water was in the boat due to strong Texas winds. We'll miss our gentle giant brother-in-law John. Phil & Linda Mazaika Joliet, Illinois

Mrs. Bochantin, Jen, and Joyce, My thoughts and prayers are with you, I loved growing up with Jen and her lovely family. You always made me feel at home. I was saddened to hear about John passing. He will be missed and was very much loved.

I remember many hours of playing video games with Uncle John when we were kids, but never getting a turn because he was so good; being lofted into the pool on several occasions; playing volleyball; and one time Uncle John & Uncle Phil thought it would be a good idea to take all the kids fishing...5 kids with fishing poles and hooks, I got the big catch...Uncle John's shorts! I'm glad I had the chance to visit last summer. I will miss Uncle John very much, but most of all I will miss his laugh.

I will always remember Uncle John judging our dives, the taffy in the fridge, and introducing me to nachos! I can't believe he is gone...much, much, much too soon. Love you!!

Joyce - My deepest sympathy to you and yours. Your father was truly unique and one of the coolest Dad's I ever met. In high school, I loved coming to your house, it was so friendly and full of love. I will lift you and your family up in my prayers. All my love, Julie Shugart

John - I have never taken for granted your friendship and love, especially the way you expressed it :-) For two young "kids", your home always felt like our home away from home. I could always count on getting teased when I came over, which meant I was ok in your book. And I liked being ok in your book. I am so very glad I was able to spend a few hours with you & the family a couple years ago, and equally as glad that I got to talk to you and pray with you on the phone last May. You went...

Adrianne, Joyce, Jen, and Martha,

I am so very sorry about the loss of John. When I think back to about 1980 when Pam and I moved to Dallas and first met the Bochantin family, it is truely a sweet memory. God put the Bochantin family in our path for a reason. John and Adrianne treated us like immediate family and we felt so at home when we spent time together. We got to watch your beautiful daughters grow and enjoy the loving arms of a wonderful grandmother as if she was our...
