Not sure what to say?

John was an amazing musician and had a beautiful voice. He was one of my first friends when I moved to Baltimore City and joined Old St. Paul's. We went to lessons and carols together at St. Paul's K Street in D.C. I am so saddened to hear of his passing. I will always remember his beautiful organ playing and singing at vespers. He was kind hearted and had a great sense of humor.

Holding your family and community of friends in my prayers. I knew John when he was organist at Episcopal High School. I am saddened by his death, far too soon. Prayers as well for the repose of John's soul and for his presence in the fullness of Christ's peace.

Celestial Love

Words, however kind, can't mend your heartache, but those who care and share your loss wish you comfort and peace of mind. May you find strength in the love of family, the warm embrace of friends; and the loving promises of Almighty God that there is a hope of seeing your loved one again. Warm condolences.

I knew John through AAM, The Association of Anglican Musicians. We continue to be in a state of deep sorrow. John was a delight and a blessing to many. Loving prayers are extended to John's family. In faith we believe that he is in God's loving arms and received into the glorious company of the saints in light.

I remember John when he was about 12, starting to take organ lessons from G. Donald Kaye. He was such a nice and talented young man and beloved by all. He accompanied us, he sang with us, he was very special. In the last few years I have been privileged to be a friend of his on facebook and see all of the many things he was doing. He was way too young. This is a tremendous loss to the music world and to all of us.

John was a special friend. We sang together, we rang bells together and we laughed together. One of his favorite pieces of music was "It Is Well With My Soul" and he played it at almost every concert. My dear John, I hope you are now well with your soul. You were a special gift to me and you will be greatly missed. Bev. Gillie
