John (Jack) Boileau

Jack was a good friend and classmate at Hudson's Bay High School. He was also a very talented musician. We had many good times together in high school. He had a very nice Mercury that he kept pristine. We had recently reconnected after my being out of the area for many years. Vancouver was an easy stop for Jack on his way to the Oregon coast. I will miss Jack's spontaneous phone calls and great sense of humor. My sincere condolences to Jack's family.

I'm greatly saddened by this notice. Jack was part of a troupe of us kids who grew up in 4th Plain village and attended John Rogers and Lewis. He was one of my two best friends from those years and the only one I've kept in touch with. We haven't seen each other often but have caught up on the phone occasionally. As I've aged it's been special to have shared memories with Jack. It's been a less than a year since we spoke and I'm thankful for that conversation. I will miss him.
