I was a member of Peddie Golf Club for 30 years. I remember that he was the Assistant Pro when I joined and when he became the head pro and he was a people person and very nice guy. I remember when I got my first hole and one and he filled out the application and authorized it which resulted in a beautiful acknowledgement of the feat which is framed and proudly hanging in my family room. So sorry to hear of John's passing. I always looked forward to seeing him at Peddie and later while David was playing lacrosse in Millstone. He was a great guy with a great sense of humor.I'm sure he'll be missed by many.
