Not sure what to say?

It seems like yesterday that I was sitting down with the Bombace family to our regular Sunday dinner. Always some big Italian meal. Enough food for 20, but only the 5 of us. No other family treated me like family like the Bombace's. 33 years has gone by in a flash since Chris's tragic loss. One of the best friends I have ever had. John was always quarterback and Chris and I competed for that football. We shared so many days, nights, months, years together. Two wonderful parents. My parents...

Another year passes, and though time rolls on, I pause sometimes with thoughts of John, and remember that smile and laugh and understand just how eternal our memories are.

Haven´t forgotten you, pal.

Another year gone by but you are not forgotten! I only knew John as a kid. I was his brother Christopher's best friend. Honestly, with John being a big boy, I always thought he was so much older. Only to find out decades later he was only a year older. I remember John as a tough kid. He kept Chris in line! We played lots of street football and basketball with John. So many fond memories of the family!! They were a fun loving Italian family from NY and I was the skinny boy that Chris's mom...

I cannot believe it's been a year. I knew John as a young boy. I was his brothers best friend. Rest in peace brother!

I grew up with Chris. We we're the best of friends during our childhood.John was always a constant in my life. He treated us like any big brother would. Tough at times and a friend as well. I remember Sunday mac and cheese with the family, football in the street, sleepovers etc. All great memories. A trully wonderful family, my home away from home. I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. My deepest condolences to his mom and dad. Two wonderful parents and two people I cared for and admired...

We had to say goodbye to you today son , just like we had to do Twenty-six years ago to your brother Chris . I was as hard to do as it was before.l don't know why God picked this time to take you to heaven. Maybe he needed a good man for a reason we'll never know. He got the Best there is .
Your friends and family mourn you. I never realized how many friends you had . It's a testament to your character. Your children Christopher , Analise , and Madison Showed their character this...

Such sad news. Knew John some years ago. Always made me laugh. One of the good guys.
