Dad, your grandson is growing up too damn fast. I see bits of you in him every day. I miss the jokes we had together, the way you saw the world, the first "Hey Josh!" over the phone, listening to you sing and play guitar in the next room when I was supposed to be asleep.

You were no ordinary man, John Bone. You lived your life so well. You loved your family completely. You enjoyed things fully. You made the life of everyone who knew you better. The only thing worse than losing you would be not having known you at all. I miss you very much.
