Professor John M. Bonsell

John was a valued colleague and member of the Industrial Technology Department at Chadron State College for many years. I missed his ready smile, always eager to assist others (me!) with technology issues and student projects - like homecoming floats! Please know that John´s hard work ethic and generous spirit of sharing knowledge and skills lives on in the generations of students he taught. My deepest condolences for your loss, Dana, Amanda and family!

Ms. Dana and Amanda. I´m so very sorry to hear of your loss. John was a great neighbor and friend. We had many deep conversations. The world is a better place because John was in it. May God Bless you during this time.

I had John as a Professor in my first semester at UNO 36 years ago. I think I had him as a Professor each semester during the four years there. We stayed active in SME (Society of Manufacturing Engineers). When John retired he called me up and gave me several of his Engineering books that he would no longer need and I brought them over to Metro Community College. He also came to our advisory committee meetings. He was a good friend and will be missed.
