Not sure what to say?

The day John parted to the road of no return, angels in heaven played clarinets to accompany the beautiful celestial chorus so God would welcome John in His Kingdom.

John was caring, affectionate, compassionate, considerate, generous, passionate, reliable and always had a big smile that brighten everyone's day.

I remember when my son Jimmy and my daughter Daisy were watching cartoons and laughing with John so hard that we could hear outside the house. He sounded like one of...

QUE DIOS LOS TENGA EN SU REINO A JOHN, UNA PERSONA MUY BUENA Y ALEGRE POR LO QUE LO CONOCIMOS, UN AMIGO DESDE QUE NOS CONOCIMOS EN PORTLAND HACE YA 20 AÑOS ATRÁS. SEGURO GOZA DE MUCHA PAZ EN EL CIELO. NUESTROS SENTIDOS PÉSAMES A FANNY Y ESTIVEN. ORAREMOS POR LA FAMILIA PARA QUE ENCUENTRE CONSOLACIÓN, AGUSTIN ROMERO Y FAMILIA, SORAYA Y DIAGO. LA PAZ, BOLIVIA

We were saddened to hear of John's death. He was fun, thoughtful, and extremely smart and we considered him a good friend. We worked with him at Tektronix and had him over to our home for dinner a couple of times back in 1967. We would have come to the service had it been in the paper a day earlier. Our deepest sympathies on his loss.

Dear, dear Fanny,
I am saddened to learn of the death of your husband. I heart goes out to you.
Lois Plunkett (former nurse on 2R) I'm still on Facebook.

John was a great friend and cousin. I have wonderful memories of times together in Portland and Wallowa County where he especially loved to visit. I will always remember his infectious laugh and sense of humor. I will miss him greatly. 73's John. God be with you. Rest in His loving arms.
