My Mom, Eleanor Hobbs, worked for John in the early days of Gallery 100. I remember John as being patient with a very young man with an intense curiosity about photography...letting me hold (fondle?) a Leica camera for the first time...Thank you John for stoking the flames of photography in me that still burns brightly 55 years later. Each trip back to Princeton includes a walk by the old Gallery 100 (although it is now Starbucks) and a trip through the memory banks. RIP
