Dear Helen, I was so sorry to hear about John's passing. Working with both of you and him at Easton Area School District is one of my fondest memories - I'm so glad to have met you. Genuinely kind and so friendly. I will miss bumping into you while grocery shopping at Weiss! May your memories sustain you. Warmly, Karen Doerr

Our sincere condolences to the Border family on John's passing. He was a dedicated police officer & chief of police as well as a caring husband, father & friend to all. My parents & I often talked about the fun times with Elsie and Helen (Butchie) & John and the great friends we had on South Side. Very sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace.

Dear Helen and Family, So sorry to hear of John's passing. He was a kinmd and gentle man and an excellent man. I will never forget him shoveling out our driveway and street up to Davis, so I could take Al for his treatments at Easton Hospital. Never would have been so easy. Also, his visits with Al when he was with Hospice. We could not have had a better or more kind neighbor. Rest in peace, John. Prayers for you, Helen and Kelly and for all who cared for him. God's Blessings, Merrielee...
