Our Saviour Understands

May our Lord fill ya'lls hearts with faith, hope and peace dear Lorraine & family + friends. Sorry to re-connect at this difficult time as I just saw David L...today & he told me.

I continue to treasure our high school years! What magical, marvelous times we all shared!

Love & Peace Forever

Dad,
I love you so much and can not wait to see you again. Life just does not seem right without you here. I miss calling you just to hear your opinion on things. I love you dad and miss you so very much. I think of things that now mean so much to me, and wish that I had told you thank you but didn't or that I loved you. So thank you Dad for always being there for us, traveling here and there to make us happy, and to coach me through baseball and life. I love you Dad and will always...

I remember when I was little I used to think that my uncle Jac was the tallest man in the world... Love you <3

My fondest times with Jac were on the golf course and our many golf trips that Cris and I took with Lorraine and Jac. We became known as "Jesus, Jac" (derived from a frequesnt yell after a bad shot) and "Dancin' Dean" (I would sometimes stomp the ground after an errant shot). When I first started playing with Jac in 1987, he was truly awful. But he worked diligently on the practice range and one day broke 80, shooting a 77. He said later that it was the worst thing that could have happened to...

Sorry it has taken so long to write this but it's so very hard when you lose a truly good and kind person. I will treasure the memories of spending time with Jac (and Lorraine, Jackie, Jodie and Taylor) in Ringwood and Cape Cod. I think back at all the silly memories and laugh, and then cry. He will really be missed. I always think of him when I hear fireworks, and I know I always will. Noreen and Dave Gilligan

As the days pass, I think of more and more memories that my dad has left me with. He was such a devoted father and Jackie, Taylor and I never went without something. And although he was a man of few words and he had a hard time verbally expressing himself, we never had to question what his heart was saying.

Here are a few memories I will cherish:

Dad telling Island Ford off because the bumper just "fell off" my car that I had only had 6 hours. He would later find out...

A few memories that I have:

How my dad would call my phone and I would run up to my third floor bedroom to answer and he would hang up just as I got there, then waited until I was almost back downstairs to call again so that I would run back upstairs so he could repeat this over and over until I figured out that it was him.

Always good for a laugh is the story of "Uncle Buck", the car he brought to me while in college that only had 3 working gears and would buck across...

I enjoyed going to Savannah to the civil war forts.
