Not sure what to say?

Sorry, I just learned about the passing of Dr. born. I had him for history back in the 70s and post graduate classes. What a wonderful person and great teacher he was. He actually came to couple of my classes when I taught history and government in Wichita Kansas. Last time I saw Dr BORN Was in 2010. We came in to the dermatology office here in WICHITA for his yearly appointment. We had a great talk he told me that he was living down in Texas. I am saddened about the passing of the best...

I remember Dr. Born quite well; he was an inspiration to me as an undergrad and grad in History at WSU. I met my wife in his class, and she and I always remember Dr. Born using "predicated" in his lectures...it is a good memory of a good teacher and historian.

I came out to Wichita in the Fall of 1989 knowing no one. My first college class was Dr. Born's U.S. History class. He was very welcoming. Subsequently, I took other classes from Dr. Born over my four years. He is and will always be Fiske Hall to me. I am a better person for having known Dr. Born.

I pray for the Born family. Professor Born was an excellent teacher of history, even though I didn't do well in his class :) I am sorry for your loss

My condolences to the Born family. I took courses from Dr. Born when I was an undergrad and graduate student at Wichita State University. In the graduate course, he taught me editing techniques that I share with my university students. With his encouragement after completing a seminar paper from his course Founding Fathers, I presented for the first time at a national conference.
