Goodbye to a very old friend. I grew up at 81st and Colfax, and we were pals at St. Brides and Mount Carmel. I remember the family well (Ted called him John and Marie called him Babe), and share their sadness. Here is his MC graduation picture. Also, here is a picture of our 1957 Bessemer Park team. He is second from right in back, and I am first row, far left. I already have reached out to his Brides/MC classmates. He is missed.

So sorry about John, as he will surely be greatly missed. But his kindness as a classmate and gentle soul will be remembered by his faimily and friends forever. Rest in peace, John.

So sorry to hear of the passing of John. I worked with John over the years while he was Yardmaster at Randolph St. He made sure all of us were safe working under his authority. I enjoyed being a friend of his over the years.
