Having adopted the Trojans many years ago and a many season football seat holder, I have been impressed with how the band has improved over these many years and now I can see how that was helped along by such a dedicated person to whom we give many thanks!

John and I at the age of about 8 or 9 , as we are the same age were sitting in his brother Joe's Model A Roadster pretending we were driving when one of us found a 50 cent piece on the seat. We got on our bikes and rode about a mile and a half to where his brother Joe was loading sacks of potatoes on a truck to go to market. We told him we found the 50 cent piece on the seat of his truck. He told us to go buy some ice cream for ourselves. In those days 2 kids our age could not eat 50...

It was a real pleasure working with John at his annual "Boskovich BBQ" in support of the Trojan Marching Band. His smiling good nature and generosity were were incredible.

Jose and I feel blessed to have worked along side him starting back in the 1980's...San Gabriel Valley Trojan Club and then doing the Boskovich Trojan Marching Band BBQ!!!! His generousity, huge heart and love for Trojans everywhere touched us all!

I lived down the street from John and Marcie in NorthHollywood and remember John and my father trading war stories. He was a kind and gentle man with a big heart.
