Last time I saw Shawn was 1966, in Hong Kong. We went to Port Richmond together ; he joined the Navy , I joined the Marines. I did get to speak with him a few years back, still the same , just a great guy.

I want to extend my condolences to John and his family. I met John at the Vet center in St. George and he was very warm and friendly and this made a great impression on me and another veteran I was with. He was soft spoken and very knowledgeable with many topics. He made an impression on me for which I won’t forget. Rest In Peace my friend

I played on John's baseball team in Mid Island Babe Ruth League.
He was quite, unassuming, a very good player and all around nice guy. His father was special too. He was at every game.
Special person. RIP
