John Bowden Obituary

John Henry Bowden a United States Navy WWII veteran, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the age of 87 in Schertz, Texas. He was born in Houston, Texas to Enoch Reid and Dora (Mueller) Bowden. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Wade Bowden. He is survived by sons, Robert L. Bowden and wife Cindy, and Joel Henry Bowden and wife Tina; daughter, Nelda Curry; grandchildren, Timothy O'Brien and wife Jennifer, Matthew Bowden, and Rachel Weber and husband Bryan; great-grandchildren, Cooper O'Brien, Nathan O'Brien, and Addy O'Brien; three brothers; three sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 6, 2013 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 7, 2013 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
