Not sure what to say?

I thought the world of John. When I worked Nuclear Security at Surry Power Station, I always looked forward to seeing John come in through the Secondary Building during refueling outage time. We were both Marines at different times of our lives but we were true brothers in that respect. John always had a smile and something good to say when he saw you. I had not seen John since I retired in 2010 and was saddened to hear of his passing. To John's family, please except my sincere condolences...

I love you Daddy, I will always remember our times together and all the ways you always helped me and were there for me. I am so proud to be your daughter and you were an outstanding father and papaw. We will all miss you but I know you are in a much better place and you will always be with us in spirit and continue to look down on us.

I will remember John’s laugh forever - deep and hardy . Such a easy going friend, though there were large time gaps in our contact with each other , we could pick up where we left off. The Love Between Friends knew no loss.
My prayers for his beautiful family , may God Comfort you in the days ahead until we ALL meet again.

Rest in peace my friend and co worker. Psalms 23

Judy, we are so sorry to hear that John passed... If you need anything Please let us know!! He was such a kind and wonderful soul.. He will be missed...

This is not goodbye, it's until we meet again. Prayers for all left behind for peace and comfort Russ & Destiney Whitley.

How do I say goodbye to my sweet man who was also my best friend for 18 years? You were a wonderful husband, a man with awesome talent, a good friend, and a man who loved his family. I hope that you're resting peacefully now and the pain is finally gone. I love you John Boyd, and I will miss you for the rest of my days.
