Judge Boyd was my favorite all time jurist. As a young lawyer I tried my very first case before Judge Boyd and many more thereafter, and including many before the Court of Appeals where he served. Not only was he the perfect Judge, he was a true gentleman to all people. Thank you God for putting John T. Boyd on this earth to make our country a better place.

Chief Justice Boyd was truly a great man and a splendid judge.
