I was sad to hear this. John had been a regular at our card games years ago. I had not heard from him in 5 years or so. my prayers go out to his family.

I have not seen or heard from John since High School days at John Glenn. I remember John as an avid baseball fan, and it seemed like every time I had a game in the Bangor rec league John would always be there. Always offering support and saying how great a catcher I was, best in the city as John would always say. That always meant allot to me and I have never forgotten how he supported us. I'm sure he touched many in his time here and will be missed greatly.
