My condolences for Wes' family. I served with Wes in Mortar Battery 1/15 in Fort Benning and Bamberg Germany. Even though 60 years has passed since I last saw him, I remember him as a kind man,friendly to everyone and that everyone in the battery from the CO to the lowest ranking soldier respected him.
