We often do not understand the depths of the lessons from our parents, built on their hardships and secrets until our parents are gone and then in retrospect the lessons we remember, seen through their eyes are only filled with love, even though they struggled to share it with us. In their imperfections and hardship...

My Dad was a larger than life man. He persevered through incredible difficulties and strove to be the best son, brother, husband, and father he could. He didn't always get it right, as none of us ever do; however, he maintained a "can do" attitude for everyone around him, even when we wanted to give up.

My father, always trying to be the best at everything he did,
lived to his 100th Birthday!
