Not sure what to say?

John was one of my favorite classmates, great sense of humor and quick wit. A bunch of us would load up in my Dad's 37 chevy, stop at every stoplight, get out and run around the car. John was so funny in his full length fur coat ! It was too hard going to the class reunion in 2019, too many of my favorite pals had gone on to heaven.....I miss him but know he is at peace.

I am so sorry for your loss, he will be missed.

Jonas and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
Lisa (Ireton)Randle

We lived next to the Brandsma's for seven years and found John to be a warm and friendly neighbor. He had a kind and generous heart. He was always willing to lend a hand or give advice. We thoroughly enjoyed being neighbors with the Brandsma's and will fondly remember John. Steve and Sue Koch

I throughly enjoyed John as a neighbor of mine for many, many years. Every time I'd be working on our rental house next door, he would come over and offer help or advise, or just chat about baseball. Going to miss his sparkling personality. Barry & Suzy

Sherry, I was saddened to learn of John's passing. My sister told me just today. You and he were great neighbors and I have fond memories of John. He always had a light-hearted greeting for me, a joke, had a great laugh--and, whenever I'd come into your house as a teen, he'd always ask me if I wanted something to eat! He was a friendly guy and I'm glad that I knew him.

To the loved ones of John. We r sorry to hear of John's passing.. our prayers r with you and for you.. sincerely, ernie/elizabeth firestone.. 360-600-3882

He was the shining light for the Sunnyside class of '64. Now he will shine down from heaven. Wishing peace & love to Sherry and family.
