I was surprised to learn of John's passing. John was truly a special and loving man. I will miss seeing and talking to him while visiting Hechts. His gentle and sweet spirit will be missed by many! I am positive that John touched the lives of many people and his memories will live on forever! I also pray that God will continue to Bless you the family of John W. Brandt and give you peace.

Today is Sunday, October 9 and I just yesterday learned of John's passing. And while I know that he is now bring great joy and smiles to those who preceeded him home, I am greatly saddened by the loss of those of us who grew to love him here on earth. John was a regular at Saturday's Market. We looked forward to seeing him each week. His sweet gentle soul was a breath of fresh air. He was always happy, always optimistic, and had the amazing ability of seeing the...

John, you truly will be missed by all that knew you. SFD will not be the same with out you every monthly meeting. RIP brother and may god throw his loving arms around you for you, are a true angel among us. Be sure to look over everyone and guide us through our daily ventures.

John, I will always remember your big smile, the sparkle in your eye and all your kind word., whenever I would see you out and about or at the mall every Friday at our lunch breaks. I know you are with our chuck and with our lord. With chuck, my dad, my son, Joe and now you. I know that heaven is smiling knowing they have a great start of an awesome fire department in heaven. I pray you will be one of many to greet me in heaven one day.
